Yvonne Murray has been a member of the Parish Finance Advisory Committee
(PFAC) of the Diocese over 13 years working as a volunteer providing support and guidance to a number of Parishes in resolving their debt issues. She has also worked with Parishes that have requested assistance through their Area Bishop or the Director of Finance in developing their financial plan or providing one-on-one financial coaching.
Yvonne has been a member of the Budget Working Group in reviewing and providing advice on the Diocesan three-year financial plan and has assisted the Director of Finance in presenting the financial plan to the York-Scarborough parishes.

Yvonne is dedicated and committed to volunteering her time and talent for the improvement of the parishes. Yvonne is the Treasurer of St. John the Divine Church, Scarborough, a position she has held for over 20 years. For over 30 years she has played a number of important leadership roles in the life of her Parish. She is a member of the Chancel Guild and had been a warden for many years. Yvonne continues to maintain an active role in the life of the parish of St. John the Divine.

Yvonne has also volunteered in her community tutoring grade school students on
Saturday mornings. Yvonne is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CMA) and prior to retirement has worked in management for several years both at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and at the Independent Electricity System Operator in the Accounting and Auditing departments.
